Junior Financial Modeling Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Modeling Analyst to support financial analysis, valuation, forecasting, and strategic decision-making activities. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and an interest in corporate finance, investment analysis, and business modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
• Support valuation analysis, including DCF, comparable companies, and transaction analysis
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and clients
• Analyze historical financial statements and operational data
• Conduct market and industry research to support investment and strategic projects
• Collaborate with finance, strategy, and business teams on ad hoc analyses
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data and models

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or related areas
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Knowledge of financial statements and valuation methodologies
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English and Russian is required
• Knowledge of Uzbek is considered a strong plus
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or financial databases
• Familiarity with accounting principles and corporate finance concepts
• CFA Level I or interest in pursuing professional certifications is a plus
