The Shadow Fight series and Vector have been downloaded over 1 billion times, and we continue to grow and support these franchises. At the same time, we’re building new titles: SPINE and Fight Me.
We are currently looking for a Meta Game Designer to join the game design team of our flagship project - Shadow Fight 3.
Shadow Fight 3 - it's a fascinating action-RPG fighting game that immerses players in the Shadow World. They battle various enemies, enhancing their hero and utilizing a rich selection of weapons, armor, and fighting styles. The game allows players to create a unique character and explore a deep, well-developed world with a history of over 15 years.
Responsibilities:
- Design meta game mechanics
- Write detailed feature documentation and keep them up to date
- Oversee the development of meta game mechanics until the release stage, communicate with cross-functional teams responsible for their execution
- Calculate in-game balance
- Compose well-structured data collection requests and work with analytics
- Reverse-engineer meta mechanics of other games
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years of commercial experience as a Meta Game Designer within midcore/hardcore project
- Thorough understanding of game systems design and balance principles
- Strong mathematical background
- Understanding of mobile project metrics
- Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions based on statistics
- Ability to work in a team and communicate across departments
- Deep understanding of RPG and fighting game genres and their progression systems
- Proactivity, self-sufficiency and ability to learn things fast
- Proficiency in Google Sheets
Would be a plus:
- English B1 or higher
- Familiarity with Kibana or Python
- Experience working with Unity
